La Magia Brunello di Montalcino Italy 2009 750ml

Founded in 1970. La Magia is located above Sant’Antimo in the Val d’Orcia, They are certified in biodynamic farming and their cellar has been fully energy self-sufficient since 2008. Winemaker and owner Fabian Schwartz fermented in stainless steel with extended skin maceration, then aged for 36 months primarily in 500-liter French oak Tonneaux and Slavonian oak, followed by bottle refinement.

Tasting Note

This wine opens with aromas of wild cherry marinated in spirits, leather and dark chocolate. The palate offers juicy black cherry accented with white pepper, cinnamon and eucalyptus alongside round but fleeting tannins.
